Does anyone know where the whole throwing-tomatoes-at-a-bad-act thing came from? What a terrible waste. This free tomato crochet pattern gets me SO excited for the delicious tomatoes that are going to come straight out of my garden in just a few weeks! Last summer I went WAY overboard on the tomato plants and by the fall I had every surface covered in green tomatoes that I had to pick before the frost came. Fortunately, I had fresh, home-grown, ripening tomatoes for at least 3 extra weeks! Not to mention JARS and JARS full of tomato jam, tomato sauce, marinara sauce, tomato relish. We’re still enjoying the last couple jars of tomato relish!!
